Alexander Wright
African Heritage Co-Op
President

E-mail Alexander

Alexander Wright is a native of Buffalo, NY and in 2020 made the decision to found Blegacy Farms. This decision grew from the need for more minorities in farming and in business ownership. In 2016, Alexander founded the African Heritage Food Co-Op to address the need for access to healthy food in underserved communities. Through his work, Alexander has become a thought leader in food justice and food equity across NY state.
